Payment – intro
I have always been facinated by payments. It started already when I had my first moneybox. I could put in my money, take them out and put them in again endlessly. But getting my first bank account with the traditional book that used the special writer to type in the balance of the account. That was really exiting.
Since then the evolution of payments have evolved and I got back in this area 2004 when I started at a company developing payment card terminals. This was really a goldmine of knowledge with people working in the industry for ages. I got involved as a Project Manager working with hardware, software, mechanics, CE Testing and Business development. I learned a lot and this was when I decided to focus on payments in my professional career and to start my consultant company.
I started out with an assignment at a Payment Service Provider and then I have continued through the whole value chain and worked for merchants, the acquire side and issuing side.
My next step within the payment area is to summarize my experience and share my analyses of the future withing payments.
